An Appeal to Scientologists
Dear Friends,
We are happy to introduce a new journal for Scientologists, "Floating Needle!"
Description
The journal is to be issued four times per year: in March, June, September and in December. It will contain about 30 pages, full colour, A4 format. The journal is easily read even by a beginning Scientologist. A definition of the Scientology terms can be found in a special glossary. The journal is issued in English and in Russian.
Title
"Floating Needle" is an E-meter read which occurs when a person feels GOOD! When he has just got a cognition or a release, smiles, and life is beautiful to him. We hope our journal will always cause a floating needle for you!
Content
The journal speaks about Dianetics and Scientology in Ron's Org Committee (in ROC). The main columns are:
"EP": a story about a specific ability and a course on the Bridge (with a description by LRH), success stories after their completion.

Why the journal is vitally needed by you
If you regularly read our journal, you complete the Bridge faster, - we are sure of it. There are some certain reasons for this:
1. The journal supports and makes your postulate to go up the Bridge stronger.
It often happens that life "absorbs" us. We make a break in auditing or study "for a little while", and then we notice one or two years have gone by, but we are still in the very same place. All plans are broken - our life has taken away all our force and we don't have any energy to go up the Bridge. The journal, firstly, reminds one of Scientology every three months, that your break is no longer out of control. And secondly, in the journal you'll read of Hubbard, of success stories, news - and all this gives you theta and "raises you over the routine of life". And even if you have to go on with your break in auditing or study, things in life may go better. The journal helps you to keep in view your spiritual goals - to go Clear and OT.
Sometimes we need someone to encourage and direct us to another step on the Bridge. The journal may help you to bring yourself to go further on study or auditing even when it would seem there are no proper conditions and it is impossible. But a thetan doesn't have anything that is totally impossible!
2. Journal makes the Bridge real.
The Bridge seems sometimes big, long and even endless. You think: "I won't make it in this lifetime. I am too slow in comparison with others." Your hope and morale gradually die away. But our journal in every issue speaks about some ability, some part of the Bridge: what it is, what the prerequisites are, what Hubbard says about it, what those who've got it say, the difficulties they had encountered. So the Bridge becomes clear, real and not difficult. Enthusiasm and energy return.
3. Journal may keep from being suppressed.
Like it or not, some people try to blacken Scientology's reputation in the eyes of society via mass media. This pressure may appear too strong and an own viewpoint at Scientology may fade. And then there may come a light tiredness which is the suppressed state. In this case it is easy to start to hide Scientology and yourself as a Scientologist from others, not to speak about it once more (despite inwardly every Scientologist has a wish to help others and share Scientology). This is not a way to happiness and freedom.
The journal expresses our viewpoint, assured and strong, It refreshes our reality, restores certainty in OWN opinion about Scientology. Thus the journal protects your space, helps to keep integrity and gives power.
4. Journal gives a feeling of a big and strong group. This feeling makes you stronger and bigger.
Scientologists do a big job - either together or alone. But the successes of someone are not always seen by others. The common progress in the clearing of people is hard to estimate if we do not communicate with each other. The journal shows our common achievements, our statistics and wins. So it is much easier with the journal to realize our advancement as Scientologists and to enjoy the pride of common wins. The journal keeps your informed of all important Scientology news!
5. Journal shows Scientology to society - to everyone who may become interested in us and thus improves our environment.
When your friend or relative asks about Scientology, you may show him our journal. He will read, for example, that Scientology improves an ability to communicate and what exactly is meant by this. He will look at photos of Scientologists and see they are "normal people". He will read poems, he will enjoy a beautiful picture, he will try to understand our humour and even when he doesn't understand something deeply his impression of us turns to a more real one. How can a person new to Scientology, "get his head around Scientology" and come to our orgs? With the help of this journal.
And, the journal is the chronicle of Ron's Orgs history!
All the most important events will get reflected in the journal in a chronological order. Collect all the journals - the complete history of Ron's Orgs from our days on!
Everyone's invited
Certainly, our journal is mostly for actual Ron's Org Scientologists. But among our readers we welcome all Scientologists from other Free Zone movements too and also from the Church of Scientology. In other words, our journal is for ALL Scientologists who are interested, we do not close ourselves off from anyone.
